Open Portfolio Show at AuH2O Saturday! (and Halloween costume photos)
December 3, 2009 | Filed Under Eco-Fashion, VanityHi all!
It’s time for Holiday shopping, and photography is always a great gift, so this Saturday AuH2O is hosting an “open portfolio” showing of Ann Sanfedele’s photography. There will be black and white proof prints made during the 70’s and 80’s, early Cibachrome prints, and a selection of recent digital work. 8 x 10 prints will be available for $10 to $25, and 5 x 7 prints- pay what you wish. See the flier below for a taste, or Ann’s photo-sharing site http://annsan.smugmug.com. In addition to the photos, AuH2O will have a special section of $10 necklaces, including cameos, anchors, feathers, leaves, elephants, horses, etc, all the little treasures people love for only $10. And of course, next door TEICH is also holding a Holiday shopping event, featuring Elizabethan Jewelry.

Hope to see you this Saturday! Come find photos and $10 necklaces, they make great, easy gifts!
Also, here are a few photos of Halloween costumes that I helped make for friends and customers:

This is me as Jean Grey (as a Phoenix) from X-Men, and my good friend Tracy as Penny from Inspector Gadget. We’re holding up a patchwork quilt I made for her out of her old String Cheese and Phish shirts from her old hippie days. I mean, she’s still a hippie. This is basically Tracy in a blanket.

Here’s Keelan as Danger Mouse. I made his DM pin and his belt. Who even knows who Danger Mouse is?

Disha Patel as a Peacock: I helped sew on her beautiful feathers.

Eric Kohn went as the Public Option for Halloween. How creative and relevant, right? I stenciled “Public Option” on the front and back of scrubs for him.
